NFPA 72 is looking into adding a 5-year inspection requirement to the T&I chapter. This would be looking at the general condition of the system that is not currently inspected during the annual inspection. Things like the condition of the wiring above the ceiling, building modifications, and current loads. Thoughts on the subject? Any suggestions on items that might need to be on the list?
